Herbal Baths Help Women Cope With Stress

When stressed, generally people go to the gym, take a walk around the house, swim or watch a movie. However, there are ways that won't take much effort and still work wonders for stress. Simply relax in the spa bath or soak with a handful of herbs that can be obtained directly from the kitchen.

As reported by Times Of India, there are several herbal ingredients that can be used to overcome this problem.

1. Roses
Do you like to smell fresh roses? Use these beautiful petals in the bathtub, making sure they are not sprayed with chemicals. This flower has many healing properties. In fact, long before that, Cleopatra often did, soaking with milk and rose petals. Its efficacy, roses are able to maintain the skin, cool and calm the mind.

How to use: Make a fragrant bath infusion using dried rose petals, chamomile flowers, green tea leaves and essential oils. Put it in the bathtub. You can also add rose petals, lavender spices, and coconut milk to it. An indulgent bath keeps the skin soft and supple.

2. Calendula

How to use: To make a calendula soak, take half a cup of dried calendula flowers and dried rose petals. Add some Epsom salt to this as well as a few drops of lavender or ylang oil. Place this in a muslin bag and add this to your bathtub. This will make the skin feel cooler and nourishing.

3. Chamomile
Chamomile, which is soft with its fruity aroma, is a soothing nerve lozenge. It is also the perfect addition to herbal baths. Bungomil white flowers have bisabolol, an oil with sedative qualities. In the bathroom, aromatic oils are released for healing soaking. It also improves sleep.

How to use: To make a chamomile tea soak, brew chamomile tea and leave to steep for 10 minutes so that the vegetable oil is released. Add this to the bathroom.

4. Basil
Want an energized bath? Try basil. It has a beautiful aroma and stimulates the senses. Pop star Madonna posted a video online soaking in fresh celery leaves. This herb also reduces skin inflammation.

How to use: To get its benefits in the bath, make a mixture with other essential oils, tea trees, lemon essential oils and coconut carrier oil. Shake and add a tablespoon to your bath water. It reduces stress and makes a great pick-me-up.

6. Lavender
Lavender has many benefits. Lavender can reduce nervousness and anxiety, lower blood pressure, relieve stress, help reduce skin infections, improve blood circulation and more. A lavender-rose bath soaked with oats can make you enjoy the fun.

How to use: To make it, mix the oats until they turn into flour. Add epsom salt, dried rose petals, and dried lavender in a bowl. Add this to your bathtub directly or if you want it not to fall apart, add the mixture to the muslin bag and leave the steep one in the tub.
